Advisory Board

Building the Future of Environmental Intelligence

PollyMap brings together clinicians, researchers, biologists, environmental scientists, pollen experts, mold specialists, and innovators who share one mission:

To improve environmental health through better data, better research, and better patient care.

Our Advisory Board provides scientific guidance, identifies research opportunities, validates emerging ideas, and helps shape the future of PollyMap and PollyKit. We believe environmental intelligence should be built collaboratively by experts who are passionate about discovery and helping people.

Lindsey Forstie is a Family Nurse Practitioner and founder of PollyMap and PollyKit. She developed PollyKit after discovering that existing national pollen reporting systems often relied on regional forecasting models instead of actual measured environmental data. By testing the air where patients actually live, work, and spend time, she dramatically improved the accuracy of allergy treatment recommendations and patient outcomes. Lindsey has always been driven by research and scientific discovery. As a child, she dreamed of curing cancer and spent years considering a career in biomedical engineering before ultimately choosing nursing and advanced practice medicine. She combines a clinician's perspective with the curiosity of a researcher and the heart of a teacher, constantly seeking better ways to understand the environment and improve patient care.

Our Mission

Why We Built PollyMap

Environmental exposure affects millions of people every day.

Yet most publicly available pollen information relies on regional forecasting models instead of measured environmental samples.

PollyMap exists to create the nation’s most accurate environmental intelligence network by combining local sampling, microscopy, artificial intelligence, and scientific collaboration.

Our Advisory Board helps guide this mission and ensures that every advancement moves environmental science forward.
