Elm, cedar, oak, and cottonwood lead the spring tree season. The plains have some of the highest ragweed counts in North America from August through October.
Wide-open agricultural land combined with summer humidity produces very high outdoor mold counts, especially Alternaria and Cladosporium after summer storms and harvest.
