shape: bisaccate (central body flanked by lateral appendages/sacci). symmetry: bilateral (obscured by artifact on one side). apertures: not clearly visible. wall structure: thick exine separating to form prominent hollow sacci. edge definition: distinct; sharp on the central body and scalloped/wavy along the sacci margins. surface texture: lateral sacci are coarsely reticulate or alveolate; central body is granular. pores or furrows: distal furrow obscured. internal contents: dense in the central body; sacci appear empty but heavily patterned. color and staining: intense pink/magenta (strong basic fuchsin uptake). other notable features: a highly refractive, clear, perfectly semi-circular structure with a thick black optical border overlaps the left side of the grain (a classic air bubble artifact)
